DeepSat is an early-stage startup operating in the US and Armenia. Our goal is to build a real-time Earth Observation satellite constellation operating in Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO).

We are seeking a full-time Satellite Engineer with a strong passion for SpaceTech. In this role, you will actively contribute to satellite design, perform mission calculations, and collaborate with leading SpaceTech companies, all while working with cutting-edge space technologies.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on learning new technologies, is eager to dive into research papers, and can apply advanced knowledge in practical scenarios. Proficiency in calculations using various methods, including scripting in Python or C/C++, is essential.

You will be the first new engineer to join the team and will have an opportunity to work on everything involving satellite design from 0 to 1. You will be reporting to the Co-Founder/CTO.

Job Requirements

• MS in Physics or relevant experience
• Experience in Optics and basic knowledge of Astrodynamics
• Understand and be able to do orbital mechanics calculations
• Experience with hardware and electrical engineering
• Knowledge and experience in software engineering, scripting, and basic algorithms
• Excellent English knowledge (reading, writing, speaking)
• Great communication and email writing skills
• Problem solver
